Two Beautiful Hotels off the Amalfi Coast

The Villa H.S. Michele in Castiglione di Ravello is built into a cliff, with its terrace overlooking the Meditteranean. It's a 10 minute walk from Amalfi, a 20 minute bus-ride to Ravello, and a 15 minute trip on a ferry-boat to Positano.
The second hotel, Villa Scarpariello is 10 minutes farther from Amalfi.
All the rooms are doubles. Standard for two, with breakfast is about 180 euros or with today's exchange rate, $250-$260. At San Michelle, dinner is $35/person. It's a 3 course meal, with a choice of two different pastas, a choice of fish or meat, and dessert. The staff is very accomodating to your dietary needs, and they prepare lunch as well.
You can use both hotels' facilities when staying at one. Prices are quoted for two people. If making your reservation for one, make it clear, in writing, what the price would be for one guest. If you have to change your reservation, find out what their cancellation policy is. Call to get details. This is a really good find!

Good, Small Hotel in the 7th Arrondissement
The Hotel Bourgogne and Montana is located in the 7th Arrondissement. It's comparable to Park Avenue New York. With many police officers to guard the ministry, it is one of the loveliest and safest arrondissements in Paris. It has 32 rooms and a beautiful view, right behind the French Assembly, and a short stroll to several museums, galleries, boutiques, and restaurants. The concierge- Grace dos Santos is extremely helpful, and this charming, small hotel costs around $250 with a delicious buffet breakfast.
